When Alyssa first reached out to me, she mentioned that she was from Florida and planning on getting married out of state. It was important to her that we were able to meet in person. And I of course love travel weddings! We connected instantly over our coffee meeting and I knew both her and Drew were going to be amazing to work with from the start.
Her October 7th wedding couldn’t come sooner. Although I was sadly as sick as a dog, it was pure joy from the moment I walked in the getting ready home. I have to give Alyssa and her family a shout out for being so sweet to my sick self, but I sure as heck wasn’t about to let it get me down for her big day!
Alyssa got ready at a gorgeous rental home in the downtown Franklin area. I knew that the results were going to be fantastic! All her beautiful bridesmaids watched in awe as she was the last to get ready.
The ceremony was held at a family farm (that also hosts many weddings a year!) in the outskirts of Franklin. Albeit an overcast day, the smiles that radiated that day were infectious! These two said “I do” overlooking a small pond in the back of the land. We ventured to a secluded field for their portraits for some quiet time so they could have a moment to take it all in.
Alyssa’s choice of dusty blue and hints of mauve/pink for her details didn’t disappoint. She had the most beautiful bouquet that complemented her stunning blue eyes!
Their reception was definitely one I’ll remember, more smiles and tears made that awesome night (and I totally shed some too). I loved how involved everyone was throughout the dancing! Alyssa and her girls even threw on a surprise performance (she’s a dancer!) for all her guests to end the night.
I have to thank both Alyssa & Drew for giving me the honor of spending that day with them. This wedding was special to me as it really left me full and excited to bring the same exciting experience to my future brides. I couldn’t have been more blessed!
